Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2016, Chloe had already set her sights on a legal career.
Determined to gain practical experience, Chloe Thompson graduated a year ahead of schedule to work as a receptionist at a plaintiffs' firm, laying the foundation for her future legal endeavors. Her unwavering commitment to her goal led her to Mercer Law School in Macon, GA.

Association of Women Law Students
At Mercer, Chloe continued her tradition of community involvement as a member of the Association of Women Law Students (AWLS), where she not only served as a mentee but also as a mentor, actively promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession. Chloe was also a dedicated member of Phi Alpha Delta (PAD), a professional law fraternity, where she exemplified the values of integrity, compassion, and courage through service to the school, the profession, and the community.
Macon-Bibb Public Defender’s Office
As a law student, Chloe Thompson participated in the “2L Practice Act,” gaining invaluable experience as a practicing attorney at the Macon-Bibb Public Defender’s Office. Representing indigent clients in the “major felony” division, she argued bond motions and appeared in court, displaying her dedication to justice and advocacy.

Chloe continued to refine her legal skills at Buzzell, Welsh, and Hill, a plaintiffs’ workers’ compensation and personal injury firm in Macon, GA. She relished the opportunity to work closely with clients, seeking justice for those affected by negligent individuals and establishments.

In 2021, Chloe Thompson proudly graduated from Mercer Law School with her Juris Doctorate, marking the culmination of her legal education. Eager to continue her career, she made the move to Atlanta, GA, where she joined a large plaintiffs’ firm, focusing on personal injury.
Personal Interests Outside of the Courtroom
Beyond her legal career, Chloe is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, lake outings, attending Braves games, staying active at the gym, immersing herself in captivating literature, and exploring the world through travel. Her cherished companion is a 23 lb. cat named Louie, who keeps her company on her adventures.
